Low-Poly Truck Design

This truck was an asset created for my first year Asset Design course. The assignment was to design, model, and texture a truck based on a theme of our choice. I chose to create my truck based on the dark sci-fi military atmosphere created by the game Wolfenstein: A New Order. Blocky shapes and visible machinery was used to try and replicate the aesthetic of the large and daunting mechanical monsters from the game. This was my first time working with UVs and PBR materials. The model was created in Maya and the textures were created in Substance Painter.

Looking back at the design of the truck now, the wheel configuration does not make much mechanical sense. However, this was a great exercise in modelling from an original concept design and I learned a lot from it.
